About the Role IRG is seeking volunteer Short-Form Video Editors to transform interviews, educational material, and other space-related content into engaging short-form videos for social media. What You’ll Do Edit short videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other platforms. Turn interesting moments from interviews and other source material into engaging clips. Add captions, B-roll, graphics, music, and other creative elements. Develop your own creative approach to the material. Work with the Social Media Lead to select and develop potential short-form content. Who We’re Looking For This role is ideal for someone who: Enjoys video editing and creative storytelling. Is interested in space, science, or science communication. Wants to build or expand a video-editing portfolio. Has experience with video editing software or is eager to learn. You don’t need to be a professional editor. We’re interested in creativity, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Volunteers are encouraged to work on projects that interest them and contribute according to their available time and bandwidth. Interstellar Research Group
