Recycling Warehouse Worker

Location: Pearl, MS
Pay: Starting at $12.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, plus every other Saturday

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Recycling Warehouse Worker to join our team in Pearl, MS. This position is responsible for collecting recyclable packaging materials throughout the warehouse and operating a baling machine to prepare materials for recycling. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Collect cardboard, plastic, and other recyclable packaging materials throughout the warehouse.
Sort recyclable materials as needed.
Safely operate a baling machine to compress and prepare materials for recycling.
Stack, organize, and store completed bales in designated areas.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Follow all company safety procedures and warehouse policies.
Perform routine inspections and basic cleaning of the baling equipment.
Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous warehouse or recycling experience is a plus but not required.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive physical tasks.
Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the workday.
Ability to safely operate equipment after training.
Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday
7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Every other Saturday required

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay: $12.00 per hour
