Cath Lab Technologist

Job Description\n

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist with a strong background in Interventional Radiology (IR) to join our team. This position is essential for providing exceptional patient care while assisting in a variety of procedures within the cath lab setting.

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assist physicians during interventional procedures and ensure the safety and comfort of patients.
\n
• Maintain equipment and ensure a sterile environment in compliance with safety standards.
\n
• Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
\n
• Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
\n
• Follow all protocols and procedures to ensure effective patient care and laboratory efficiency.
\n

Shift Information\n

This position requires a 4x10 work schedule, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
\n
• ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
\n
• RCIS certification is mandatory, along with experience in Interventional Radiology.
\n
• Availability for on-call duties, approximately 14-15 days in a 6-week period, including evenings and weekends.
\n

Additional Requirements\n

Candidates must be willing to participate in weekend call schedules and must not float to other facilities. Please note that local candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to adjusted rates. Only one request for time off (RTO) will be accommodated during the contract period.
