Description

• Assess patients in both inpatient and outpatient environments and craft personalized treatment strategies
• Perform physical therapy interventions aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
• Work in tandem with nurses, physicians, case managers, and other rehabilitation team members to optimize patient outcomes
• Inform patients and their families about therapeutic goals, discharge procedures, and home exercise programs
• Keep detailed records on evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress to align with facility and regulatory standards
• Engage in care team discussions and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or a comparable qualification from an accredited institution

Certifications

• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
• Preferred: CPR certification
• Specialty certifications (e.g., in neurology, geriatrics) are a bonus, though not necessary

Skills

• Robust prior experience is highly preferred
