92F Petroleum Supply Specialist

Job Description Fuel is one of the most vital components of the Army National Guard. As a Petroleum Supply Specialist you will ensure proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum products. Operate specialized pumping equipment to load trucks, ships, trains, and aircraft. Select and submit samples of petroleum products for testing and perform petroleum and water accounting activities. Test petroleum samples for contamination, repair specialized equipment, and follow facility safety procedures and storage guidelines. Assume management duties as an Advanced Petroleum Supply Specialist: supervise and train soldiers, assign duties, spot-check work quality, and enforce safety procedures. Job Duties Receive and stock bulk and packaged products. Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water from storage and distribution facilities to using units. Plan and schedule petroleum transport. Operate airplane refueling systems and equipment. Test oil and fuels for quality. Training & Development You will develop skills and experience that support civilian careers with oil refineries, pipeline companies, and tanker and ship lines.
