Job Description Job Description Kimco Staffing is seeking a Buyer position in Ontario! Position: Buyer Days: Monday – Thursday Hours: 6:00am – 4:00pm Pay: $25-$27 Location: Ontario Job Duties: Manages and coordinates all procurement activities from initial purchase request through final delivery of goods and services. Analyzes purchasing requirements, specifications, supplier options, pricing, and delivery timelines to identify the best sourcing solutions. Solicits, evaluates, and negotiates bids, proposals, and contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best value while maintaining quality, schedule, and compliance standards. Responsible for building and maintaining strong supplier relationships, ensuring vendors meet company expectations for quality, pricing, service, and ethical standards. Reviews and processes purchase orders, contracts, bids, and vendor agreements to ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Assigns procurement requests appropriately and supports internal teams with purchasing guidance and supplier recommendations. Monitors order status, shipping schedules, amendments, and delivery timelines while communicating updates, delays, and changes to management and other departments. Ensures commodities and services are delivered on time, within budget, and according to company quality standards. Maintains accurate procurement records and documentation, coordinates cost-effective distribution methods, and oversees the disposal of surplus materials when necessary. Must have: Great oral and written communication skills.
