Express Employment Professionals on 99th and Fort Street is currently recruiting for a Claims Specialist to join a local insurance and financial services company in Omaha, NE! Position Details:

• Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Location: Downtown Omaha, NE
• Pay/Salary: Starting at $18.00/hr

Job Duties:

• Process and review ongoing long-term care insurance claims.
• Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Evaluate claim documentation and supporting records for accuracy.
• Communicate with claimants and internal departments regarding claim status and information.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of claims processing procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn new software systems.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to interpret medical terminology, policy language, and correspondence.
• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education preferred.
• 2-4 years of claims processing or auditing experience preferred.
