Position Overview

We are on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist to join our committed team of imaging professionals. You will get equipped with advanced ultrasound technologies to conduct a range of diagnostic procedures, collaborate with an inclusive staff of clinicians, and reassure patients during what can often be a vulnerable time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient comfort and safety during each examination, offering clear explanations and empathetic support
• Work closely with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee high-quality, diagnostic images
• Maintain imaging equipment in optimal working condition, reporting any malfunctions efficiently
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Stay informed on innovative ultrasound imaging techniques and implement best practices in your work

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a similar field
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certification Requirements

• Current ARDMS certification or an equivalent credential is mandatory
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
