Summary

The position of Master Production Scheduler will be responsible for capacity planning oversight and execution, and supervision of production coordinators in a vertically integrated, multi-site manufacturing environment. This role involves interaction with sales, production, purchasing and inventory teams to support company production needs in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Proficient in ERP systems (Infor Visual or similar).
• Provide leadership and oversight to Production Coordinators, ensuring accountability, productivity, and quality standards are met.
• Oversee multi-site capacity planning to support customer order fulfillment.
• Coordinate and communicate schedules, changes and delays to all affected stakeholders - engineering, customer service, sales, operations, purchasing.
• Identify bottlenecks to schedule attainment (materials/personnel/equipment) and communicate resolutions to appropriate team(s).
• Proactively engage in long-term capacity planning activities based on sales forecasts.
• Improve existing capacity planning tools.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Education/Training/Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of planning/scheduling related experience and supervisory experience required.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling or supply chain management.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and ERP systems required.
