Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU

Registered Nurse Intermediate Intensive Care / Progressive Cardiac Telemetry

Shift options: 12-hour nights (18:4507:15); schedule blocks of 36 or 48 hours. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.

24-bed unit; fast-paced cardiac-focused intermediate care.

Minimum 2 years RN experience required.

Travel experience required; locals accepted with a lower rate.

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH.

Preferred certification: NIHSS.

Core clinical skills: Cardiac telemetry monitoring, IV starts, post-cardiac care, non-invasive airway management.

Monitor patients in an intermediate care setting with a focus on cardiac conditions.

Provide care for adults and geriatric patients, including post-procedural management.

Assist with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation.

Titrate and manage vasoactive cardiac medications.

Perform IV starts and manage peripheral and central lines.

Support charge duties and wound care (if applicable).

Must pass EKG competency testing prior to start. RTO must be pre-approved; excessive call-offs may result in cancellation.
