Role Description The Server role at Nantucket Grill is a full-time, on-site position located in Raleigh, NC. Servers greet guests, present menus, take food and beverage orders, and deliver items promptly and accurately. They ensure tables are properly set, maintain a clean and organized dining area, and coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to provide a smooth dining experience. Servers handle guest questions, offer menu recommendations, process payments, and address concerns in a courteous and professional manner. The role also includes following health and safety guidelines, supporting teammates during busy periods, and contributing to a positive, guest-focused atmosphere. Qualifications Strong customer service and hospitality skills, with the ability to create a welcoming and respectful guest experience. Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with guests, coworkers, and management. Basic math and cash-handling abilities, including processing payments and making accurate change. Time management and multitasking skills to handle multiple tables and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail in order accuracy, table settings, cleanliness, and compliance with food safety standards. Ability to stand, walk, and carry trays or dishes for extended periods and lift moderate weights as needed. Previous experience in restaurant serving or food service is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
