Dynamic Work Schedule - This is 5 days on site a month in the same week then the remainder of the month is working from home. If your candidate is not open to this please tell them they will not be considered. Fidelity determines the week they are working onsite, not the candidate.

Must Have: SQL, any sort of Python, any sort of AWS.

We are currently sourcing for a Data Engineer to work in the Enterprise Technology Group in Durham NC. The Team You will be part of the Cyber Data Analytics Squad within Fidelity’s Enterprise Cyber Security (ECS) business unit. You will have the opportunity to contribute to ECS’s Data journey by being part of a fast-paced Data Analytics organization that focuses on designing and implementing data engineering solutions such as Batch and Streaming Data Processing/Ingestion pipelines, Data Migration, Data Modeling, Data Analytics and AI/ML model building. The team is also tasked with driving the overall data strategy for ECS.

The Expertise You Have · Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of relevant work experience. · Strong SQL skills and knowledge of one of more RDBMS (Oracle/Postgres/MySQL/SQL Server). · Solid experience building data pipelines using variety of tools including but not limited to Apache Nifi/Airflow, dbt, Python, SQL, Shell scripting, Hadoop/EMR, Informatica, APIs. · Familiarity with implementing and supporting databases in an AWS Cloud Infrastructure environment. · Hands on working knowledge of Cloud Databases especially AWS Managed Databases such as Aurora MySQL, Postgres, or Oracle · Hands-on working knowledge of Snowflake. · Experience with Tableau or Power BI. · Ability to work independently to bring tasks/stories to completion.
