MRI Technician | Kernersville, North Carolina

Schedule/Hours:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Facility operates 7 days a week; flexibility for any day shift required for coverage
• No on-call duties; no night shifts
• May float to surrounding affiliated sites as needed

• ARRT MR certification required
• For direct hire: minimum 1 year MRI experience preferred; contractor candidates must have 5+ years of experience
• Proficient with starting IVs and able to work independently
• Experience assisting with breast biopsies and supporting research studies preferred
• MRSO certification a plus
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system

• Perform MRI examinations independently with consistent attention to quality and patient safety
• Assist diagnostic procedures including breast biopsies as needed
• Support ongoing research studies, maintaining meticulous clinical standards
• Ensure accurate documentation and image archiving using the EPIC EMR system
• Adapt to float to affiliated imaging locations as operationally required
