What you will enjoy doing:
- Provide project support for Burns Harbor, IN, Gary, IN, and associated satellite plant operations
- Execute the Management of Change (MOC) work process, ensuring all changes to systems, equipment, and processes are properly evaluated, documented, and implemented in compliance with safety and operational standards
- Lead and support capital projects, process improvements, and infrastructure upgrades from concept through completion
- Troubleshoot plant equipment and systems to resolve reliability and performance issues
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, efficiency, and cost performance
- Monitor equipment performance data and drive corrective actions for underperforming assets
- Maintain and update documentation including P&IDs, SWDs, and site-specific operating procedures, in accordance with MOC requirements
- Travel approximately 15% to support multi-site operations
What makes you great:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering (or related field)
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills that strengthen collaboration across operational and technical teams
- Computer proficiency with Microsoft products
- Working knowledge of Management of Change (MOC) processes
- Ability to travel approximately 15% of the time
- Flexibility in work schedule to support operations during startup, shutdown or unplanned events
