Construction Inspector

Job Title and Location Construction Inspector – Rocky Hill, CT. Responsibilities Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers. Under minimal direction, relies on extensive experience and independent judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Provides on the job training to new employees. Monitors conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties. Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records. Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning. Tracks quality assurance progress. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma plus eight years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. Valid U.S. Driver’s License; candidate must pass a Motor Vehicle Records review. Preferred Qualifications Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and overnight. Experience working in and around an active operating railroad. Additional Information Sponsorship is available for this position. Relocation is not available for this position.
