Outside Fabrication Sales Representative

HVH Mechanical Partners is looking for an Outside Fabrication Sales Representative to help grow our Pre-Fabrication Division.

We aren't looking for someone who just knows how to sell. We're looking for someone who understands the work.

If you've spent time around mechanical piping, fabrication, construction, or industrial projects and you're the kind of person who enjoys getting out in the field, meeting customers, finding opportunities, and building relationships that last, this could be a great fit.

You'll be the connection between our customers and the talented teams inside HVH who bring their projects to life.

You'll:

• Get out in the market and develop new customer relationships and opportunities
• Build relationships within the mechanical, industrial, commercial, manufacturing, and construction markets
• Stay connected with existing customers and keep an eye out for their next project
• Talk with customers about what they need and help determine how HVH's fabrication capabilities can solve the problem
• Pursue opportunities involving mechanical piping, structural metal, and custom fabrication
• Review drawings, specifications, and project information
• Work closely with our estimating, engineering, fabrication, project management, and operations teams
• Follow up on quotes and proposals and keep opportunities moving
• Maintain an organized sales pipeline and keep the team informed about what's coming
• Represent HVH at customer locations, jobsites, industry events, and wherever the next opportunity takes you

Here's Who We're Hoping to Find

You might be a great fit if you have:

• 2+ years of outside sales experience, preferably in mechanical, fabrication, industrial, or construction-related sales
• A pipefitting or hands-on mechanical background, with 5+ years as a Pipefitter preferred
• Working knowledge of mechanical piping and fabrication
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications
• Existing industry relationships or a strong professional network, which is definitely a plus
• The confidence to walk into a customer's facility, understand what they need, and have a knowledgeable conversation about how we can help
• Strong follow-up skills and the drive to keep opportunities moving
• A self-motivated, organized approach and a sense of urgency
• A valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally and regionally for customer meetings and business development
