ARMED SECURITY FIELD SUPERVISOR
Military NCO & Law-Enforcement Experience Preferred
NOLA Protection Group — Greater New Orleans, Louisiana
Pay: $25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
Employment: Full-Time
Department: Operations
Reports To: Director of Operations
Position: Armed / Field-Based Leadership
YOU’VE LED PEOPLE BEFORE. WE’RE LOOKING FOR YOU TO DO IT AGAIN.
NOLA Protection Group is seeking an experienced Armed Security Field Supervisor to provide hands-on leadership across our Greater New Orleans operations.
This is not a traditional security guard position.
We are specifically looking for proven leaders from the military and law-enforcement communities who understand accountability, standards, discipline, decision-making, and taking care of people.
If you were the NCO who made sure the mission got accomplished…
If you were the patrol officer, FTO, or supervisor others depended on when things went sideways…
If you believe standards matter even when nobody is watching…
We want to talk to you.
The Field Supervisor serves as the operational link between our security officers, clients, and senior management. You will be in the field inspecting posts, mentoring officers, solving problems, responding to incidents, ensuring Post Orders are followed, and protecting the relationships NOLA Protection Group has built with its clients.
We aren’t simply looking for someone who can find problems.
We’re looking for someone who can lead people and solve them.
WHO WE ARENOLA Protection Group has served New Orleans and the Gulf South since 2012 , providing professional protective services throughout the region.
Our operations include commercial and industrial security, neighborhood security, special events, film and television security, executive protection, and other specialized security assignments.
Our reputation depends upon professional officers, strong field leadership, attention to detail, accountability, and exceptional client service.
OUR CORE VALUES — P.R.A.I.S.E.
At NOLA Protection Group, PRAISE isn’t a slogan hanging on a wall.
It is the standard by which we operate.
Our Field Supervisors are expected to embody these values and reinforce them throughout the organization:
P — PROFESSIONAL - Conduct yourself with the highest standards of appearance, communication, judgment, and behavior. Represent NOLA Protection Group and our clients with pride, respect, maturity, and dependability.
R — RESOURCEFUL - Adapt, overcome, and find solutions. Take initiative, anticipate problems, use available resources effectively, and remain capable when circumstances change.
A — ACCOUNTABLE - Take ownership of your responsibilities, decisions, personnel, and results. Do what you say you will do. No excuses. No shortcuts.
I — INTEGRITY - Be honest, ethical, and trustworthy. Tell the truth even when the truth is uncomfortable. Do the right thing even when nobody is watching.
S — SAFETY - Protect our officers, clients, visitors, and the public. Maintain situational awareness, follow established procedures, identify hazards, and never sacrifice safety for convenience.
E — EXCELLENCE - Set a high standard and continuously work to improve it. Take pride in your people, your uniform, your reports, your equipment, your accounts, and your performance.
PRAISE is how we lead.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As a NOLA Protection Group Field Supervisor, you will have responsibility for field operations across assigned accounts.
Primary responsibilities include:
Conduct routine and unannounced inspections of security posts.
Ensure officers are present, properly uniformed, equipped, alert, and prepared for duty.
Ensure officers understand and comply with site-specific Post Orders.
Inspect officer credentials, licenses, equipment, and firearms requirements when applicable.
Maintain a highly visible supervisory presence throughout field operations.
Respond to significant incidents, emergencies, officer issues, and client concerns.
Provide immediate leadership during rapidly evolving situations.
Coach, mentor, train, and develop security officers.
Correct performance deficiencies promptly and professionally.
Recognize exceptional employee performance.
Review incident reports and other operational documentation for accuracy and professionalism.
Maintain communication with clients and identify potential service concerns before they become complaints.
Assist Operations with call-offs, staffing shortages, open posts, and emergency coverage.
Temporarily assume a security post when operationally necessary.
Conduct Post Order audits and recommend changes when procedures are outdated or ineffective.
Document field inspections, counseling, incidents, equipment deficiencies, and significant operational activity.
Coordinate appropriately with law enforcement, fire, EMS, facility management, and company leadership.
