Responsibilities: Have a working knowledge of MSHSAA rules, event procedures, coaching technique. Organize and schedule practice. Ensure all participants have all required equipment. Distribute and collect and inventory all returned equipment. Organize fund raising. Establish performance criteria for participation. Organize presentationof awards and banquet at the end of the season. Ensure transportation to events. Attend all events. Attend appropriate sideline training. Keep and complete all appropriate records. Make decisions for the best interests of the District and within Board polices and CSIP objectives. Maintain appropriate rapport with participant parents. Comunicate and cooperate with media. Promotepositiverelations between the building, District,Boardand community. Work closely with the Athletic Director to schedule field and facilty use. Attend all required meetings. Keep Atlethic Director informed of appropriate issues. Terms of employment: Contract establishedby the Board - generally the sport's season A criminal fingerprint/background clearance is required.
