The Opportunity This position works out of our Westfield, IN location in the Structural Heart division. Structural Heart Business Mission: Why We Exist Our business purpose is to restore health and improve quality of life by designing and providing device and management solutions for treating structural heart disease. Key Responsibilities Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures. Assists engineering in providing manufacturing support by training operators on processes and engineering changes, and performing operator certification on‑job training and testing. Develops knowledge of manufacturing practices and procedures. Learns process improvement techniques by assisting Engineering in researching and validating changes in processes/equipment and test methods to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time per established procedures. Learns traceability and inspection requirements, learns statistical process control criteria, learns how to develop manufacturing instructions, and create training sheets and certifications. May also train operators on basic processes and engineering changes, and perform operator certification on‑job training and testing. Assists Engineers in collecting, compiling, measuring, organizing and recording data, and by writing procedures. May keep lab notebook. Shift Second Shift: Monday - Friday 3:00 - 11:30 PM Required Qualifications High School Diploma / GED Applies knowledge of basic technical concepts and practices and a basic understanding of product or systems fundamentals. Utilizes basic knowledge of numerical and/or statistical data and computer software programs to resolve routine problems. Will perform this job in a quality system environment. Failure to adequately perform tasks can result in noncompliance with governmental regulations. Performs routine technical tasks working from detailed written or verbal instructions. Performs routine set‑up, testing, repair, inspection, and/or maintenance of certain area specific equipment, materials, systems, and/or product. Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree (± 13 years) Pay The base pay for this position is $15.80 – $31.60/hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
