Title Dental receptionist / admin Job Description Patient Reception & Relations: Act as the face and voice of our practice, greeting patients with a courteous attitude and answering multi-line phones with exceptional phone etiquette. Precise Scheduling: Master the daily appointment book, coordinating visits efficiently to optimize clinical production. Financial & Math Accuracy: Review account ledgers, accurately calculate patient co-payments (including percentage breakdowns), and confidently present treatment plan costs to patients. Insurance & Data Entry: Verify patient insurance benefits, maintain current digital health profiles, and input detailed treatment plans into the practice management system. Problem Solving & Support: Proactively handle scheduling changes, resolve billing inquiries as they arise, and maintain a seamless front-office flow. Salary Range part-time $20 - $25 per hour - Competitive salary based on qualifications and experience. Shift & Schedule This is a highly structured Part-Time (PT) role offering up to 25 hours per week with zero weekend commitments! Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Requirements Dentrix Experience: Minimum of 1 year of hands-on dental office experience is required. Software: Strong general computer skills are essential. Knowledge of Dentrix software is a highly valued plus! Mathematical Proficiency: Solid basic math skills, specifically the ability to calculate percentages for insurance co-pays and interpret account ledgers. Core Capabilities: Superior organizational skills, acute attention to detail, and a proven ability to smoothly multitask in a fast-paced environment. Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
