Senior Data Analysts set the standard for that work, delivering fast, accurate outputs themselves while raising the bar for team output accuracy across the team they lead.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you lead by doing. You'll coach and mentor analysts on your team, coordinate day-to-day workflow, and audit output for accuracy, all while staying hands-on yourself, manually extracting and organizing sensitive data alongside your team. This is a lead role, so you'll be the person your team looks to for guidance, quality, and pace.

Job Summary:

The Senior Data Analyst combines hands-on extraction work with team leadership auditing documents for sensitive data with the same speed and precision expected of every analyst, while coaching, mentoring, and coordinating the day-to-day workflow of the analysts on their team. You'll be the first line of quality control, catching errors before they reach the client, and the person newer analysts turn to for guidance on pace and process.

Compensation:

• $65,000-$68,000 annual salary depending on experience. Monthly bonus and equity earned based on performance

Typical Schedule:

• Onsite in Reston, VA (in‑office presence required)
• Full-time role with standard operating hours M-F 9-5:30. This position may require the employee to remain in the office beyond standard working hours until all essential duties and assignments are completed. Work hours may vary depending on workload and business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to adhere to project standards and client requirements.
• Conduct stand-up meetings to communicate priorities, review progress, address challenges, and ensure the team remains aligned with project goals and deadlines.
• Review and audit analysts work for accuracy and coach those analysts to improve upon mistakes
• Train, coach, and mentor Jr. Analysts to strengthen their speed, accuracy, and adherence to project standards
• Coordinate page‑by‑page review of hundreds of documents daily to identify personally identifiable information (PII) and other sensitive data for yourself and your team
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to federal, state, and industry data‑handling requirements
• Accurately organize, structure, and record findings using Microsoft Excel and internal tools.

You’ll be a fit if you have:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Comfort working in Excel. Strong Excel skills are a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to be able to coach and mentor analysts, coordinate with APM’s on project goals and guidelines.
• Ability to work and focus in front of a computer for extended periods.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science/analytics, accounting, economics, or related field required.
• 1-2 years of experience in a document review, data minging, accounting, or administrative or similar experience is required.
• Experience as a team lead, coach/mentor, is helpful but not required
