Machine Assembler

Our client, a leading organization in electronic and mechanical assembly, is seeking dedicated Assemblers to join their team. As an Assembler, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Sparks Glencoe, MD

Pay Range: $23.00/hour

Shift: Days M-F 7am-3:30pm

What's the Job?

• Perform a variety of assembly tasks on electronic and mechanical components, including wiring, component installation, and hand soldering.
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and work instructions to ensure accurate assembly and measurement.
• Conduct quality inspections and troubleshoot complex issues during assembly processes.
• Disassemble, modify, rework, and test assemblies and subassemblies according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment adhering to safety policies and procedures.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; technical degree or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical tools including torque drivers, gauges, and bits.
• Proficiency in reading drawings, interpreting measurements, and understanding specifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Reliable transportation and safety shoes are required; must be able to work overtime as needed.
