ABOUT THE ROLE:
- We're looking for an experienced Superintendent to work on jobs in the Peninsula and throughout California, who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes ownership of every phase of the project. You'll lead and supervise all aspects of assigned Retail Big Box projects from mobilization through punch list and demobilization - ensuring safety, quality, and clear communication every step of the way
In this role, you will:
- Oversee day-to-day field operations and ensure all work is performed safely
- Coordinate scheduling, subcontractor activities, and workflow on site
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, trade partners, and team members
- Ensure project quality standards are met from start to finish
- Manage cost control for general conditions
- Prepare and maintain required project documentation
- Lead fast-paced projects operating six days a week with hard completion deadlines

ABOUT YOU:
- You're someone who is hands-on, solutions-oriented, and committed to delivering exceptional work. You know how to lead people, communicate clearly, and keep projects running smoothly - even under tight timelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 6+ years of construction experience in a supervisory role
- Strong working knowledge of all trades and the ability to read/interpret plans and specifications
- Prior experience as a foreman or journeyman preferred
- OSHA 30-hour certification (or equivalent)
- CPR & First Aid certified
- Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project or a similar scheduling tool
- Beginner to intermediate experience with Procore or comparable platforms
- Strong understanding of digital documents, images, and related tools
- Retail project experience is a plus, but not required
