Candidate Type: Traveler
Requirements: RN License; BLS; ACLS; NIHSS; Cardiac Telemetry or PCU/ICU experience; Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips; Experience with post cardiac procedural care (Ablations, cardiac catheterizations, Post Op Day 1 Open Heart, permanent Pacemaker placements); Able to administer and titrate IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on a Cardiac Telemetry unit with a focus on post-procedural cardiac patients.
• Read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips to monitor patient status.
• Administer and titrate IV medications as prescribed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient care.
• Follow unit-specific policies, including floating to other areas as needed and maintaining high standards for patient experience.
