Previous travel experience required. Must have AK license in hand. Start date: ASAP. Shift: 4x12 variable (or 3x12 variable - traveler's choice). Shifts will be either days or nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date. Duration: Traveler's choice for 26 or 13 week assignment. Ratios: 1:20. Years of experience: 1. First timers accepted: No. Certs REQ: BLS. All caregivers are required to obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification as a requirement of working in a LTC facility. Clinicians will obtain certification during orientation on-site at the facility. They do not need to complete this prior to their start date. There is a one-time fee for this certification. Skills REQ: LTC experience. Is on-call REQ: No. Will the clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes. Open to accommodating a block schedule? No. Locals accepted: No - candidates perm address must be at least 50 miles from facility. Pending license accepted: No. RTO restrictions: No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 week contract. Must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3 major winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years). Preference is for travelers to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract. Guaranteed hours: 60 hours per 2 weeks - traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks.

Facility will pay for shuttle to and from Anchorage at the beginning and end of the assignment. Local shuttle in Seward available for local transportation needs.
