Business Banking Underwriter II - Practice FinanceThe Business Banking Underwriter II - Practice Finance is responsible for underwriting Business Banking loans to determine credit worthiness and compliance with Bank lending policy.Duties and Responsibilities:Supports Business Banking production by maintaining an individual pipeline of work.Reviews all financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions. Credits would typically include those with moderate complexity and customer exposure up to $2,500M.Utilizes single approval authority up to $2MM.Appropriately assess risk profile of borrower.Tasks as needed to support the line of business and job familyPerforms other duties as assigned.Basic Qualifications:Bachelors degree3+years' experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environmentPreferred Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Business related fieldAbility to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $1MMProficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resourcesExcellence in customer service, highly motivated, focused and goal orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar and demeanorStrong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning and follow-upAbility to work independently on multiple tasks without compromising qualityExempt Status: YesApplications Accepted Through: 09/30/2026Huntington expects to accept applications through at least the date above, and may continue to accept applications until the position is filled.Workplace Type: OfficeCertain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.Compensation Range: $57,000 - $113,000 Annual SalaryThe compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan.
