This role offers experience across senior and mezzanine debt, asset-based and cash-flow lending, sponsor finance, unitranche, junior capital and related workouts. The successful attorney will work directly with finance partners, own key drafting and closing workstreams, and gain exposure to performing and stressed-credit matters. Ideal Candidate Profile The firm is seeking a 3rd-to-5th-year Finance & Restructuring Associate with: Three to five years of corporate finance experience at a large law firm Experience with asset-based, cash-flow, sponsor, mezzanine or unitranche finance Strong drafting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills Credit agreement and security-document experience Ability to manage multiple transactions and demanding deadlines A JD from an ABA-accredited law school with top academic credentials Texas Bar admission or the ability to become admitted promptly Experience handling sophisticated corporate finance matters Related workout, amendment or restructuring experience is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits The anticipated market-aligned base salary range is $245,000-$310,000, depending on class year, experience, qualifications and other relevant factors.
