Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

Cardiac Cath Lab RN Procedures/Cath Lab

Minimum 2 years clinical experience required. Travel experience required. Cardiac cath lab experience required: Diagnostic and Interventional Cath Lab. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS.

Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab.

Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their condition.

Prepare and maintain the cath lab environment, including equipment setup.

Assist with cardiac stent placement, IABP placement/removal, and related procedures.

Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and emergencies.

Document patient information in the electronic medical records system.

Orientation consists of 36 hours.

Call is typically required: 6 evenings and 1 weekend per 6 weeks.

Must respond within 30 minutes of callback.

Pre-approved time off: 2 days.
