Dental HygienistIowa City, Iowa, United StatesJob DutiesYour duties will include:Conducting oral health assessments and screeningsCleaning and scaling teeth to remove plaque and calculusApplying fluoride treatments and sealantsTaking and developing dental x-raysEducating patients on proper oral hygiene techniquesAdministering local anesthesia when necessaryAssisting the dentist during proceduresMaintaining accurate patient records and documentationExperienceTo be successful in this role, you should have the following experience and skills:Experience in performing vital signs and medical documentationKnowledge of dental anatomy and oral health conditionsProficiency in dental software systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, CAD, or EpicExperience working with pediatric patients is a plusFamiliarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentialityAbility to work effectively in a dental office settingPlease note that a valid Dental Hygienist license is required for this position.If you are passionate about providing exceptional dental care and have the necessary experience, we would love to hear from you.
