Managing Workers' Compensation Lost Time and Medical Only claims remotely, the full-time salaried Lost Time Claims Specialist will investigate, evaluate, and determine compensability for work-related injury and disease claims while collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes. Key responsibilities Evaluate and establish action plans for managing medical and indemnity benefits associated with injury claims Decide claim outcomes using established policies, procedures, and guidelines, while gathering necessary facts through interviews Collaborate with injured workers, employers, and medical professionals to manage claims costs and facilitate safe return-to-work processes Required qualifications Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university is preferred Three years of experience in the field of workers' compensation insurance required One valid workers' compensation adjuster license is strongly preferred Experience in workers' compensation claims practices, laws, and court procedures Ability to manage claims through the litigation process
