Responsibilities Use leadership skills and data science expertise to guide teammates and develop algorithms and systems. Work closely with clients to understand their questions and needs and dig into data‐rich environments to find the pieces of their information puzzle. Use appropriate tools and frameworks to combine disparate data points into objective answers that advise clients in making informed decisions. Provide a deep understanding of data, its meaning, and how it can be used. Qualifications Experience implementing metadata governance frameworks for structured and unstructured data in cloud‑based environments. Experience tracking data lineage and ensuring metadata synchronization across a Data Catalog, ESRI Kubernetes, and enterprise metadata repositories. Experience utilizing OpenLineage, Apache Atlas, or other tools for metadata and data lineage management. Experience enforcing compliance with DoD metadata policies and NSG tradecraft standards for geospatial datasets. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Management, or Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or geospatial data integration in lieu of a degree. Nice If You Have Experience working in DoW or IC environments. Experience with the RMF or ATO process. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), DAMA Certified Data Governance Professional (DGSP), or ESRI Geospatial Data Management Certification. Compensation The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). Salary is determined by various factors including location, education, skills, experience, and contract‑specific requirements.
