Commercial Roofing SuperintendentSalary: $75,000 - $90,000 annually, based on experienceGrizzly Roofing, a Nations Roof Company, is seeking an experienced Commercial Roofing Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through project completion. This position is responsible for planning ahead, coordinating crews, subcontractors, materials, equipment, and schedules, while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to the highest quality standards.Based out of our Scott, Louisiana office, this position requires regional travel to project sites throughout the service area.Grizzly Roofing provides commercial roofing solutions for new construction, reroofing, repairs, maintenance, and restoration across a wide range of commercial and industrial facilities. As part of the Nations Roof family, we offer the stability of one of the nation's largest commercial roofing contractors while maintaining the responsiveness of a local team.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise roofing foremen, field crews, and subcontractors to ensure safe, productive, and high-quality installations.Review project plans, specifications, and schedules to effectively pre-plan projects and coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and deliveries.Monitor production, labor hours, job progress, quality, and material usage to meet project schedules and budgets.Conduct jobsite quality control inspections to ensure work complies with project specifications, manufacturer requirements, and company standards.Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA regulations, conducting toolbox talks, jobsite inspections, and documenting incidents as required.Serve as the primary field contact for customers by providing project updates, addressing concerns, and maintaining strong client relationships.Complete Daily Project Reports, project documentation, photos, and required paperwork accurately and on time.Work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, Operations, and vendors to ensure projects stay on track and resolve issues proactively.Participate in manufacturer inspections, project closeouts, and warranty turnover.Mentor foremen and field personnel while promoting accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of commercial roofing experience with a commercial roofing contractor.Proven experience leading roofing foremen, field crews, and/or subcontractors.Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to effectively pre-plan projects, anticipate challenges, and keep crews productive.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, customer service, and project deadlines.Strong knowledge of commercial roofing systems, installation methods, quality control, and OSHA safety requirements.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.Proficiency with Microsoft Office required. Experience with FCS, Jabba, Salesforce, Bluebeam, or other construction management software is a plus.Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Willingness to travel regionally to support active projects.What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a strong, hands-on superintendent who leads by example and takes ownership of every project.
