The Water Mitigation Technician plays a critical role in restoring residential properties affected by water damage. This individual works independently to perform water extraction, drying, and damage assessment using standard industry equipment. The technician ensures safety compliance and maintains thorough documentation while communicating effectively with customers. Occasional regional travel is expected to support clients in affected areas.

Responsibilities

• Perform water extraction and drying procedures on residential properties
• Assess damage and monitor moisture levels using standard equipment
• Operate and maintain water mitigation tools safely and efficiently
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols throughout the mitigation process
• Prepare and clean worksites to maintain a safe environment
• Document procedures and outcomes accurately for reporting purposes
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding the mitigation process and progress

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in water mitigation
• High school diploma or equivalent
• IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) certification preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor and part of a team
