Pride Health is hiring a RN Home Health to support our client's healthcare facility in Amherst, NY

Job Details:
Schedule: 40 hours/week (8 am to 4:30 pm Mon to Fri)
Location: Amherst, NY
Float / Coverage Area: Erie County, NY
Job Type: Local contract
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Pay Range: $50.00 to $54.00/hour*
Mileage Reimbursement Rate (if applicable) : $0.48 / mile
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.


Duties:

• Provide skilled home health nursing care to patients in their homes.
• Perform wound care and monitor wound healing.
• Manage IV therapy and IV-related care .
• Educate patients and families on medications, treatment plans, and disease management.
• Assess patient conditions and communicate changes to the care team.
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and maintain compliance with care plans.
• Participate in the required on-call rotation .

Requirements:

• Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing program - ADN or BSN
• License(s): Active New York RN License - Required
• Certification(s): Active BLS Certification
• Years of experience: 1+ Years of experience is required
• Skills/Specialties/Technology: Strong wound care and IV management skills preferred. Home Health experience - Preferred
• Excellent clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Erie County.
