Your Role and Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, initiate diagnostic tests, and develop customized care strategies
• Identify and manage acute, episodic, or chronic health conditions either in collaboration with physicians or autonomously (dependent on credentialing)
• Instruct patients and families about wellness, disease prevention, and management of medical conditions
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies according to your scope of practice
• Engage in patient follow-up and oversee chronic care management
• Work cohesively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care
• Maintain accurate and complete documentation within electronic medical records (EMR)

Educational Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to obtain these within 90 days)
