As our Experienced Residential HVAC Installer, you'll earn $33–$38 per hour, plus bonuses , based on your experience and qualifications.

We also offer an incremental sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 , paid over your first year at 90 days, 180 days, and 365 days.

As an Experienced Residential HVAC Installer, you'll complete residential heating and cooling system installations throughout the Central Texas area.

You'll review each project before beginning work, confirm that the necessary equipment and materials are available, and install HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications, safety requirements, and AirHeads HVAC quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing residential heating and cooling systems and related components
• Reviewing project requirements and preparing equipment and materials
• Removing and replacing existing HVAC equipment
• Completing ductwork, electrical, refrigerant, drain, and equipment connections
• Verifying airflow and proper system operation
• Troubleshooting installation challenges and determining practical solutions
• Performing startup procedures and final quality checks
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Accurately documenting completed installations and system information
• Communicating professionally with homeowners throughout the installation process
• Explaining basic system operation and answering customer questions
• Ensuring every installation meets company quality and customer-service standards

You'll take ownership of every installation from preparation through final testing, ensuring customers receive reliable equipment, professional workmanship, and a positive experience.

Minimum qualifications:

• At least 3 years of residential HVAC installation experience
• EPA 608 certification
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
• Ability to independently complete residential HVAC installations
• Understanding of airflow and basic residential ductwork principles
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to follow manufacturer specifications and installation requirements
• Commitment to safe, clean, and professional workmanship
• Ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with customers
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for residential HVAC installation

Preferred qualifications:

• Majority of the hand tools needed for HVAC installation
• NATE certification
• Experience with communicating HVAC equipment and controls
• Experience completing full residential system changeouts
• Experience with airflow testing and system balancing
• Technical school or industry training related to HVAC installation
