This contract, full-time opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist who values collaboration and desires a diverse caseload. With approximately 23 students to serve (mostly at a single campus, and a few at nearby buildings just blocks away), you'll have the chance to make a real impact while enjoying a close-knit atmosphere with fellow educators and specialists.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
• Active SLP licensure in Illinois, or eligibility to obtain
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
• Experience with pediatric and school-based caseloads preferred
• Strong skills in communication, organization, and individualized planning
• Ability to adapt to flexible scheduling and work collaboratively with other school professionals

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language therapy to elementary-aged students, adjusting interventions to meet IEP goals
• Conduct evaluations, determine student eligibility, and develop treatment plans
• Travel between school sites within a short distance, delivering consistent services to all assigned students
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and communication with parents and instructional teams
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the support network for each student’s academic and social development
