Representative Role OverviewA leading investment bank may seek a DCM Analyst to support debt offerings, bond issuance, syndicated loans, and other fixed-income capital markets transactions . These roles are ideal for candidates seeking exposure to public and private debt markets, credit analysis, and structured financial solutions , while developing a strong understanding of debt market mechanics.
Key ResponsibilitiesBuild and maintain financial and credit models to analyze debt structures, interest coverage, and capital requirements
Conduct industry research, credit benchmarking, and market analysis for corporate and institutional issuers
Support live DCM transactions , including bond offerings, syndicated loans, and liability management exercises
Prepare pitch books, investor presentations, and offering memoranda for debt and structured finance deals
Assist with due diligence, regulatory filings, and documentation required for debt issuance
Collaborate with DCM bankers, syndicate desks, and internal stakeholders on transaction execution
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline
Strong skills in financial modeling, credit analysis, and debt valuation
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to manage multiple live debt transactions in a fast-paced environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, credit, or debt capital markets is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint , and financial research platforms
Understanding of bond markets, syndicated loans, and debt issuance processes is a plus
