Electrical AssemblerThe Electrical Assembler builds and wires electrical equipment, panels, and enclosures by following detailed electrical schematics and established standards. This role focuses on precise wiring, crimping, soldering, and wire dressing to produce high-quality, military-grade control panels in a clean and climate-controlled environment.ResponsibilitiesWire electrical equipment, panels, and enclosures according to detailed electrical schematics and work instructions.Perform point-to-point wiring to ensure accurate electrical connections and circuit integrity.Crimp and solder pins and terminals to create reliable, durable electrical connections.Apply heat shrink tubing to protect and insulate wiring and terminations.Route and bundle wires and cables neatly and consistently, following established electrical and industry standards.Dress and organize wiring inside panels and enclosures to support safety, serviceability, and professional appearance.Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications and standards.Follow all workplace safety procedures and maintain a clean, orderly work area.Essential SkillsHands-on experience with electrical assembly in a production or similar environment.Proficiency in reading and interpreting detailed electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.Strong crimping skills for pins, terminals, and connectors.Proficient soldering skills for electrical components, pins, and terminals.Ability to perform precise point-to-point wiring.Experience with wire dressing, including routing, bundling, and organizing cables and harnesses.Attention to detail and commitment to producing neat, high-quality electrical assemblies.Ability to follow established electrical standards and work instructions accurately.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience assembling or wiring control panels or similar electrical enclosures.Familiarity with heat shrinking techniques for wire insulation and protection.Comfort working with military-grade or aerospace-related equipment and quality expectations.Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small components and hand tools.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a production team.Why Work Here?You will contribute to the production of advanced, military-grade control panels used in high-performance aircraft, gaining exposure to sophisticated technologies and standards. The position follows a first-shift schedule, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., providing stable daytime hours. Work involves regular use of hand tools and electrical assembly tools for crimping, soldering, heat shrinking, and wire dressing. The environment emphasizes organization, safety, and quality, while maintaining a comfortable and practical dress code where wearing shorts is acceptable.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Columbia, TN.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $27.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
