Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Automotive and Heavy Duty Parts Counter Salesperson to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the key point of contact for customers seeking automotive and truck parts, offering expert guidance, managing inventory, and ensuring a seamless sales experience. Your enthusiasm and technical knowledge will drive customer satisfaction and support our reputation as a trusted auto parts provider.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying the correct automotive or heavy-duty parts using technical knowledge and inventory systems
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, offering product recommendations, and resolving issues promptly
- Manage inventory control, stock stocking, order fulfillment, and ensure accurate POS (Point of Sale) transactions
- Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to advise on vehicle maintenance, repair needs, and automotive service options
- Negotiate sales terms with customers while maintaining professionalism and positive communication skills
- Support marketing efforts by promoting relevant products and services to enhance sales opportunities
Experience
- Proven dealership or retail sales experience in automotive or heavy-duty parts environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and automotive service procedures
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS systems, and retail math principles
- Excellent communication skills
- Demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to handle cash handling, cashiering, and order fulfillment efficiently
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
