PorterThe Porter is responsible for cleaning and maintaining administrative offices, warehouse and other designated areas to satisfy company and government guidelines. The Porter will clean and sanitize designated areas of the warehouse as well and tend to product spill clean-up. Safety is your top priority.Shifts: Monday - Friday, 6am - 2:30pm and Sunday - Thursday, 3pm - 11:30pmFunctions:Clean and maintain warehouse aisles and product slots and tape open cased and removes damaged casesClean spills including damaged product, oil grease, broken glass, etc. May require use of sawdust, brooms, mops, or shovels.Use hazardous cleaning supplies for spills (oil and fuel)Clean slot with cleaning suppliesOccasionally pull product out of the slot with a pallet jack and cleaning behind it with proper supplies and a scrubber.Cleaning break areas and offices when necessary.Collecting and baling plastic wrap throughout your shiftClean bathroomsCollect shredded paper and empty boxes and empty trash cans.Clean fire extinguishers and windowsEnsure lights are turned off and doors are locked when appropriatePick up loose product cased and return to pick slot or returns areaPerform other job-related duties as assignedRequirements:Must have a minimum of 1 years of relevant experienceMust have good verbal communication skillsKnowledge of cleaning equipment; e.g. floor scrubber, baler, etc.Frequent periods of sitting and walking; occasionally lifting up to 60 poundsBilingual Spanish a plus but not requiredHigh School Diploma or GEDBenefits:Full Medical and Dental401(k) with Company MatchPaid Sick, Personal, and Vacation Days
