Emergency Medicine Physician

Location: North Carolina

Schedule: Full time coverage. Nights are required.

Position Overview

• Provide emergency medicine physician coverage in a hospital emergency department.
• Annual emergency department volume referenced as approximately 24,000.
• Coverage model includes APP support as referenced.
• Charting system: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine as accepted by the site.
• Active, unrestricted North Carolina medical license.
• DEA with North Carolina address and required schedules.
• ACLS, ATLS, and PALS as required by the site.
• Case logs for the past two years or activity verification as required by the site.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.

Credentialing and Onboarding

• Credentialing timeline varies by site. Estimated timeframe referenced as 61 to 90 days.
• Immunization and TB documentation may be required.
