• Location: Eastern New Mexico Medical Center 405 West Country Club Road, Roswell, NM 88201

• Shift Options:

  • 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

• $1,350 - $1,450 per week

• Contract Length: 13 Weeks

• No Call required

• Scrubs: Royal Blue

• EMR: Cerner, Mindray Telemetry System

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and support in a MedSurg environment.

• Administer medications and monitor patient responses effectively.

• Assist in developing and implementing patient care plans.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

• Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.

• Educate patients and families on health management and care.

• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges.

• Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Support a positive team environment focused on achieving targets.

Experience/Qualifications

• Valid LPN license in the state of practice.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in MedSurg nursing preferred.

• Ability to monitor and interpret vital signs accurately.

• Willingness to engage in performance improvement initiatives.

• Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.

• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.

• Knowledge of safety and health regulations in patient care.

• Ability to educate patients and families on health management.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
