Seven Healthcare are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Libertyville, IL. This role involves working within a Level 1 Trauma Center, providing respiratory care across the full lifespan of patients from neonates to geriatrics. Candidates will work in a supportive environment with advanced facilities, free parking, and charcoal gray scrubs required.

Key Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist

• Provide respiratory therapy across all age groups including peds, adults, and geriatrics
• Apply proficiency in trachs, nitrous oxide procedures, and proning techniques
• Manage ECMO, ventilator associated PNA, and prevention strategies
• Conduct spontaneous breathing trials and ABG draws
• Utilize EPIC charting system and operate ventilators such as PB840, 980, Servo-U, and Hamilton
• Collaborate with unit supervisor and participate in potential floating within the PSA

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist

• 2 years of relevant experience across the full lifespan of patients
• Active IL license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and RRT or CRT certifications
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system
• Experience in critical care and prevention techniques
