Senior Counsel – Lemon Law Litigation (Southern California, CA)

We are looking for a California‑licensed Senior Counsel with strong Lemon Law defense experience to represent manufacturers and corporate clients on high‑exposure consumer warranty and consumer litigation matters across California. An active license with the State Bar of California is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop case themes and strategies that are compelling and effective for defense.
• Handle court appearances, depositions, briefs, and trials independently.
• Manage full case handling responsibilities, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Communicate routinely with clients and cultivate ongoing client relationships.
• Provide leadership and direction to less experienced attorneys.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA‑approved school.
• Licensed in the State of California.
• 8+ years of solid litigation experience, specifically with case preparation and trial.
• 5+ years of Lemon Law defense litigation experience.
• 2+ years of CRLA, tenant advocacy, or housing litigation experience.
• 2+ years of General Liability defense experience.
• Ability to manage full case responsibilities, including discovery and trial.
• Experience with time‑management systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Independent thinking with minimal supervision.
• Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Compensation Package

• Base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Annual billable hours bonus ranging from $10,000 and additional tiers of $7,500.
