Location: Preferred in San Jose, CA; Remote candidates will also be considered
Work Schedule: Must be available to work PST hours Position Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Windchill Developer / Solution Architect to design, develop, and implement enterprise PLM solutions on the PTC Windchill platform . The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windchill customization, configuration, integration, and solution architecture, with a proven track record of delivering scalable and sustainable solutions in complex business environments.
Key Responsibilities- Design and architect end-to-end solutions on the PTC Windchill platform.
- Develop, customize, configure, and maintain Windchill solutions.
- Provide administration and support for Windchill modules, including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, QMS, SuMa, Options & Variants, and ThingWorx Navigate .
- Design and implement integrations between Windchill and enterprise applications such as SAP S/4, AEM, MSD, ThingWorx , and other business systems.
- Develop and enhance solutions using Java, J2EE, Windchill APIs, REST Services, XML, JSP, and JavaScript .
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10 12 years of overall IT experience.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Windchill development and solution architecture.
- Windchill PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, QMS, SuMa, Options & Variants, and ThingWorx Navigate .
- Windchill customization, configuration, business administration, and system administration.
- Windchill APIs and enterprise system integrations.
- Java and J2EE development.
- REST Services, XML, JSP, and JavaScript.
- Integration of Windchill with enterprise applications and services.
- Oracle and SQL Server databases.
- Report development using QML and Jasper .
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in semiconductor, manufacturing, or other product-centric industries.
- Experience with Windchill+ SaaS implementations and migration projects .
- PTC Windchill certifications.
- Experience leading complex Windchill implementation, upgrade, migration, or integration projects.
