Job Description TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Paramus, New Jersey. Specialty : Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Duration : 13 weeks Hours per week : 40 Shift : 10 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Job ID #1427403. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating the fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. You will also prepare and observe patients undergoing the procedure and report abnormal activity. Tasks Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required. Assist in scrubbing for all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Demonstrate knowledge required to operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Understand and use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience. Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred. Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, and bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. (Repeated requirement retained for clarity.) Requirements: BLS, ARRT (VI), ACLS, ARRT (R), 2 Years (certifications may be required before assignment).
