We are a growing food importer and distributor serving customers throughout the region. We specialize in receiving, storing, and distributing quality food products while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and customer service.

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Helper to support daily warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving shipments, organizing inventory, preparing customer orders, and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced food distribution setting.

Responsibilities

Receive and unload incoming food product shipments
Verify quantities and inspect products for damage or quality issues
Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently
Label products and assist with inventory management
Rotate inventory following FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures
Maintain warehouse cleanliness and food safety standards
Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed)
Follow company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous warehouse, food distribution, or shipping/receiving experience preferred but not required
Forklift certification is a plus

Preferred Skills

Experience working with food products
Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems
Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices
