Registered Nurse – Medical Intermediate Care

Schedule: 12-hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Requirements:

Massachusetts Placement Agency License
Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License
1-2 years of nursing experience
Certifications: ACLS, BLS
Experience with trachs, vents, high-flow nasal cannula, cardiac drips, BiPAP, and telemetry

Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide patient care in a Medical Intermediate Care Unit, managing a diverse range of cases.
Monitor and assess patients' conditions, delivering appropriate nursing interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Document all patient interactions and care in electronic medical records.
Participate in unit floating as required and work across both medical-tele and intermediate care areas.

Compliance / Notes:

Documents required prior to offer: Massachusetts Placement Agency License and Massachusetts Temporary Nursing Service Agency License.
Candidates must be located outside a 90-mile radius from the facility.
