Job TitleQuality Control InspectorJob DescriptionResponsibilities:Inspects incoming materials by confirming product meets specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; documenting and communicating rejections of unacceptable itemsWorks closely with supervisor and associates to provide guidance as neededCommunicates with Production and QC Managers of any violations of the quality processInspects in-process production by confirming product meets applicable drawings and specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; documenting and communicating required correctionsInspects finished products by confirming all houses meet the required quality standardsDocuments inspection results by completing inspection reports and checklistsWork closely and efficiently with Management and all other associatesAdhere to all policies and protocols at all timesMeet or exceed company safety standardsPerform other job responsibilities as assigned by ManagementQualifications:Ability to read blueprints and communicate design requirements to Production, PreferredExperience in Quality Control Inspection in a fabrication/manufacturing environment, PreferredAbility to understand building code and gain an understanding of the construction manuals, standards and specifications regarding the products, PreferredMust be legally authorized to work in the United StatesHigh School diploma, preferredAbility to effectively use Excel, Word and Outlook, PreferredEffective time management skillsStrong attention to detailExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a climate-protected environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-taskAbility to read a tape measureRequires walking, sitting, lifting (up to 20 pounds), pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degreeInternal Candidates:To be eligible for consideration, internal candidates must be in good standing with the company, including maintaining satisfactory attendance, performance, and disciplinary records.Job Type: Full-timeEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
